Fundraising made FUN!

Something for everyone!  
So many different ways to get involved!

  • HIT-A-THON We set up a WHOLE PAGE for our largest Fundrasier!  Go check it out! Chairperson: Kristine Villanueva  (Players are asked to secure $100 in pledges- 100% of monies collected over $100 goes directly toward your Program Donation)  
  • SPONSORSHIPS   We offer Banners, Yearbook Pages, Ads & more! Why not ask your company or the restaurant you frequent for a Sponsorship.  The best part is: for every sponsorship a player secures, a portion goes toward their Program Fees.  Which means less money out of your pocket! Every level helps bring your costs down so it's a win-win!  (See FORMS Page) Chairperson: Erica Morales  (Players are asked to secure one Sponsorship - see chart for player credit amounts)

  • SNACK BAR    Open during most home Varsity games, we stock our inventory with donations from our baseball families. Lists go out for specific items in January.  Of course we accept donations anytime.  And watch for new menu items!  Chairperson:  TBD (Each family is asked to donate approximately $20 to provide supplies for the season) 
  • TILE WALL OF FAME   Here’s a chance to leave your permanent legacy at Kennedy!   Tile Order Form is located on our FORMS page and includes details and pricing.  Order your tile(s) today!  Chairperson: Lenny Clewett
  • RESTAURANT NIGHTS   Just about once a month, we partner with different local restaurants where every purchase made earns us a percentage. Everybody has to eat right? So invite all your friends and family and help us make money - easy money!  Check the Calendar for specific dates & locations and we’ll see you there! Chairperson: Kristine Villanueva

What do the Boosters do?

We're glad you asked! 

Year after year without fail, Kennedy Baseball Boosters step up and accept the challenge of raising the funds required to keep the Kennedy Baseball Program afloat.  We accomplish this by collecting Program Donations, Sponsorships and Coordinating Fundraisers.  

In the wake of drastic and ongoing cut backs, KBB takes great pride in working hard to keep our operating costs to a bare minimum, we also offer families several options to help offset specific costs.

Your tax deductible donations help support field maintenance and repairs, coaching stipends, tournament fees, season-end activities, equipment and lots of baseballs!  

(Little known fact: we spend an average of $2,000 a year on game-day baseballs!)

  

The remainder of our financial obligations involve tax & licenses, up front costs for uniform & gear orders as well as fundraiser start up costs, insurance, printing, website cost, bank fees, etc.  

 

Check around, you will find that our Operating Costs are the lowest in the District!

  Hit-a-Thon 

Our largest fundrasier of the year always provides an action-packed day of good ole fashion family & fun!  Let's do it again Boosters! 

This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever before with our newest addition of a CAR SHOW!  If you have a nice ride (or know someone who does) register today under FORMS page for pricing, levels of competition.  Trophies will be awarded by our judges.  

Key Elements of the Hit-a-Thon:

PLEDGES:  Every player is asked to secure $100 in Hit-a-Thon Pledges.  But here's the best part: 100% of monies turned in over $100 will be credited directly toward your Program Donation!  Some players completely offset their donation with pledges! That's awesome!  Start collecting pledges today!  Pledge Sheets and Donation Letters are under FORMS, so get busy!  Have fun!

PLAYERS HIT:  Current Players and Alumni compete to see who can hit the furthest!  Homeruns are a bonus!

COACHES HIT:  The kids always look forward to seeing how far their Coaches can (still!) hit the ball.  Don't miss this!

EVERYONE HITS:  For a $10 donation, Dads, Moms, sisters, brothers, friends, neighbors, EVERYONE is invited to grab a bat and see how they match up against each other. We also have some special guest hitters we plan to announce soon!

PRIZES:  Prizes for hitting (several different) marks on the fields!  Prizes for hitting the farthest!  Prizes for home runs!  

RAFFLE PRIZES: Our Boosters do an amazing job of collecting/presenting some pretty impressive gift baskets.  So plan on entering to take some home! 

SILENT AUCTION: Back by popular demand we will have several great items to bid upon and YES that will include a "Night with the Coaches" & the equally popular "GIRLS NIGHT OUT".

FOOD:  The snack bar will be open serving candy, goodies, beverages and more. We will also have a BBQ BOOTH that will be serving Street Tacos & Specialty Nachos alongside the traditional faire of fire-grilled burgers and hot dogs! YUM!

VENDORS:  If you're interested in showcasing your business, crafts or creations, consider coming out as one of our Vendors.  Registration is required, please visit our FORMS page for information.

VOLUTEERS:  It takes a village to pull off this amazing event, fortunately we have some AMAZING volunteers.  Sign up to volunteer by emailing Kristine @ kbowman@quinstar.com .  Students, if you're looking for service hours, we have a place for you!
