Carshalton FC 4 Westfield 1 On a windy wet day 'Field started very strongly, playing with the wind at thier backs they looked the better side for most of the first half, their good play was rewarded when Dean Hayward-Brown's good run on the right saw him recieve the ball from Flavio Cappiello and fire them in front. Shortly afterwards Sam Lewiston who started the game very well had a great chance to make it two nil, but clean through on goal he shot wide. A good move out from the back then saw Carshalton go the length of the pitch and score after a goalmouth scramble to take the sides in 1-1 at half time. There was nothing to choose between the sides early in the second half, before a long throw into the box was flicked on and sailed over Liam Stone in the 'Field goal to put Carshalton on front. It was always going to be difficult from that stage on playing into the wind against a very strong Carshalton side, indecision in the box then gifted Carshalton a third followed by a last min fourth to confirm their passage into the final.
