The Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) basketball knocked off the host Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN), 70-58 in Saturday’s league test.
The Tigers (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Delta (Muncie, IN). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Delta went down by Eastbrook (Marion, IN), 48-46, in a non-league test.
The Golden Bears now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Rushville for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 14. Shelbyville will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 56-34 league loss to East Central (St. Leon, IN). The Lions record now stands at 10-9.
