Tryouts are held at the APLL Complex at 595 DeLaura Lane. Please see the attached document for the times for your player’s session.
Players must participate in at least 50% of their assigned tryout sessions.
All players age 7 and above must attend tryouts in 2019, unless advised that they are vested to a team.
Players must bring a glove – all other equipment will be available for use at the Complex.
In the event of inclement weather/adverse field conditions, tryout sessions will be moved to March 4th and/or 5th. Additional information will be available at www.myapll.com if tryout sessions are moved to these alternate dates.

Although our official registration sessions have ended, limited spaces are available in select divisions. If you are interested in signing up your player for a division that has openings, please follow the process outlined below. For closed divisions, you may have your child placed on a wait list in the event a vacancy becomes available on a team after our season begins.
Softball (based on player’s league age)
Minor Softball (league ages 7-9) = closed
Major Softball (league ages 10-12) = closed
Junior/Senior Softball (league ages 13-16) = closed
Baseball (based on player’s league age)
Tee Ball Baseball (league ages 4-6) = very limited openings
Minor B Baseball (league ages 7-8) = very limited openings
Minor A Baseball (league ages 9-10) = very limited openings
Major Baseball (league ages 11-12) = very limited openings
Senior Baseball (league ages 13-16) = closed
Parents interested in registering a player in an open division or having their child’s name added to the wait list for closed divisions must send an email with the following to the appropriate email address below.

All requests must be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Requests will be taken in the order that they are received at this email address. No phone calls or walk-ins will be accepted. No special requests can be accepted.
If there is space for your child, you will receive an acknowledgement email advising that your request has been accepted, with the date and time to meet with the Player Agent to complete your registration. Failure to attend this meeting will result in moving your request to the back of the line and your child may lose their chance to play.

For late registration, APLL accepts only cash (exact change) and checks. Checks should be made out to APLL.
Registration for the APLL Spring Season will take place at Witchduck Bingo Hall (located at 660 N Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach):
Saturday, January 26th = Noon to 4pm (Save 1/3 off the Registration Fee per player when you register on January 26th!)
Saturday, February 2nd = Noon to 3pm
Saturday, February 16th = Noon to 3pm
All returning players must be registered by February 16th at 3pm.
ALL players should bring their birth certificate and 3 proof of residency documents to sign up. For more information regarding Little League’s RULES related to acceptable proof of residency documents for 2019 please check our “Documents” page.
League Age* 4 through 6 = $75
League Age* 7 through 10 = $90

*League Age is defined by Little League International per the calculator at https://www.littleleague.org/play-little-league/determine-league-age/. Please note that the APLL Board of Directors shall decide the age-cutoffs within each 2019 Baseball/Softball Division.

APLL Registration Fee Scholarships are available for families in need – applications will be available during our registration sessions at Witchduck Hall.
Opening Day for the APLL Spring Season is currently planned for Saturday, March 30th. Closing Day is currently planned for Saturday, June 8th.
Aragona Pembroke is one of the oldest little leagues in the city of Virginia Beach, with 59 years of service to the youth of our community. Through our league, children age 4 through 16, learn fundamentals, teamwork, discipline, character, loyalty and how to have fun. We offer tee ball, softball, baseball and Challenger divisions in both the spring and the fall. Our Complex is located at 595 DeLaura Lane in Virginia Beach.
You can support the league through our Bingo Sessions at Witchduck Hall all year long! Bingo is the major fundraising activity for Aragona Pembroke Little League and enables us to keep our registration costs low.
Our sessions run every:
Wednesday Morning – games begin at 10:30am
Wednesday Evening – games begin at 6:30pm
Friday Morning – games begin at 10:30am
