The WPS Theatre Arts Department is excited to share the 2021-2022 Theatre Season with all of you! Please note that we are alternating the all-school musical and high school musical every other year to be programmed during the academic year. As a result of this, planning will be underway for an all-school musical opportunity in the Summer of 2022. All of the opportunities listed below will be extra-curricular (after school). Please reach out to Mrs. Redman, Theatre Arts Team Lead, if you should have any questions.

We are excited to share our concerts and shows with you during the month of April! Please see below what our students and teachers have been working on.

April 13, 6:00 p.m. – Middle School Music Concert (live and live-streamed: live.windermereprep.com)
This concert will feature our middle school music ensembles under the direction of Ms. Lowa, Mr. Faul, and Mr. Nelson.

April 14, 1:00 p.m. – High School Music Concert (live)
This concert will feature our high school music ensembles under the direction of Ms. Tousek and Mr. Nelson.
This concert will also be streamed on April 15, 6:00 p.m. at live.windermereprep.com

April 20, 6:00 p.m. – A Musical of Seussical (live-streamed only: live.windermereprep.com)
This concert will feature our 4th grade Lower School Students under the direction of Ms. Crane and Mrs. Redman.

April 21-22, 6:00 p.m. 13, The Musical! (live only)
Our middle school theatre arts students will perform their production of 13. This musical is directed by Ms. Lowa.

April 29-April 30, 6:00 p.m. and May 1, 2:00 p.m. – A Night of Cameron Mackintosh (live and live-streamed: live.windermereprep.com)
This is our all-school musical experience and will feature students from the Lower School, Middle School, and High School.

Congratulations to our 7th Grade Dance Students for developing their Construct-a-Dance!  Their sense of ownership, their collaboration, and their collective creativity were outstanding!  We are excited to share that Juilliard chose the Windermere submission to share at a recent team meeting with all the other disciplines (drama and music).  The other Juilliard curriculum specialists said they were so moved by our beautiful dancers’ commitment and artistry!  To honor the students’ and their hard work, a certificate was presented to our school.

Congratulations to all of our Visual Arts Students for their brilliant masterpieces in this year’s Virtual Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival!
