On behalf of the Windermere Preparatory School Fine Arts Division, we wish you and yours a Thanksgiving overflowing with peace, love, laughter, and a harvest of blessings.

Thanks to all of you that helped, contributed and supported our 10th annual Empty Bowls for Hunger. WPS Middle School will be presenting over $700 to the Second Harvest Food Bank in time for the Holidays. With the power of Art, our Art Honor Society students helped those who go hungry in the Central Florida community and were reminded of how fortunate they are.

Mrs. Demko’s Middle School Artists have created a variety of beautiful bowls to raise funds for the Second Harvest Food Bank.   This has become a heartfelt fundraising event for many years and we appreciate the many donations already collected.  Bowls and chili will be delivered on Thursday!  Thank you, Mrs. Demko and Middle School Artists!

Middle School Artists and Advocates represent the themes of inequality and social segregation through a chosen art medium – theatre arts, digital arts, visual arts, dance, and music.

Connor Totilas has been invited to participate in the 2019 Florida All-State Honor Band in January at the Music Educator’s Conference in Tampa, Fl. What an honor this is for Connor and Windermere Prep!

Connor auditioned last September after preparing throughout the summer months for the audition. Thousands of students audition each year in the state of Florida, but only a select few are privileged to participate at the state conference.
