The Fine Arts Team would like to wish all of our fathers and grandfathers a beautiful day with family and friends. Thank you, Dads!

Thank you to our vocal ensemble, Wren 5 and Ms. Tousek, for your special performance during the Pulse Memorial Service on June 12. Your music was heard and many hearts were touched.

Over two years in the making, we are down to 58 days until the Cypress Center opens to everyone. Our Grand Opening Celebration is September 12 – please save the date.

The Cypress Center for the Arts will depend on student volunteers to support a variety of department programs and events, new family tours, and administrative support. Our team of student volunteers has one thing in common – a great love of the arts.

We want to wish our seniors the very best and hope that you will come back to visit as often as you can. We look forward to seeing all of you again on campus for an exciting year of creating, imagining, and performing. Our ongoing promise to look carefully and tend to the individual needs of every child in fine arts is what we believe truly sets us apart. Because the arts center is on schedule to open before the start of the new academic year, we will be prepared for our students and parents to enter the entrance of the Cypress Center Atrium in August.

A fine arts letter will be included in the WPS Summer Newsletter. This letter will discuss the new building tours in August, Cypress Center Opening Gala — please save the date, Wednesday, September 12, our Fine Arts Fair for parents and students event on August 21, fine arts college planning information night, fine arts programs, fine arts trips information, 18-19 Fine Arts Calendar, VIP/Patrons of the Arts (Fine Arts Boosters) and several other relevant items.
