Congratulations, Jimena!

We are excited to announce that Senior, Jimena Sierra, has been accepted into the AMDA Dance Theatre BFA program in Los Angeles, CA. She also received a $5000 Merit Based Scholarship. Jimena has been a part of the WPS dance program for the past four years, is a member of the Repertoire Dance Company, and is the President of the National Honor Society for Dance. We are so proud and excited for her as she continues to pursue a career in dance and follow her passion.

Cypress Center Updates

The Cypress Center of the Arts is on schedule to open August 1, 2018. The stage rigging beam signed by faculty, students, and parents will be lifted Jan. 24 at 4:10 pm.

Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard offers students three distinct programs across three continents providing a range of opportunities for students to be immersed in the performing arts. The Voice program at Windermere Preparatory School is an intensive program for talented high school singers looking to take their craft to the next level. The Juilliard School is a world leader in performing arts education and this program represents an exclusive opportunity for students ages 14-18 to study closely with Juilliard artist faculty.

The WPS Repertoire Dance Company under the direction of Ms. Hadley performed this past Friday at the Celebration of Dance held at Dr. Philips High School. They performed alongside other dance and performing arts schools throughout the Central Florida area. It was beautiful to see them on stage performing as a company! Bravo Ladies!
