WPS Visual Arts Recognition!
The Visual Arts department is excited to announce that two of our selections for the Nord Anglia Education Visual Arts Competition have been selected for Special Recognition. This year’s competition was centered around the UNICEF global goals regarding Climate Change. The winners in each age division will be featured at the UN High Level Political Forum this July in New York City.
High School -
Artist – Fanghai (Helen)

Title – “Earth in the Steamer”
Placement – Winner, Age 14-18
Middle School -
Artist – Middle School Art Classes
Teacher – Damon Boardman
Title – Coral Reef, A Living Wonder 2021
Placement – “Special Commendation for Whole School Engagement”, Age 11-14.

The Tale of Despereaux plays on Wednesday!
The Tale of Despereaux, performed by our WPS Theatre Rep Company, will play this Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. via live.windermereprep.com. The play was adapted by WPS student, Andrea Matos Devesa and directed by WPS student, Stuart Sheffield. The WPS Theatre Rep Company is led by Rosemarie Redman.
A Celebration of Dance!
This year’s spring dance show, A Celebration of Dance, will play this Thursday and Friday at 6:00 p.m. via live.windermereprep.com. Our Middle School Dance Students are under the direction of Allison Barron and our High School Students are under the direction of Gilliane Hadley. Our Lakerettes will also be featured and are under the direction of Stephanie Crane and Jonny Jones. Please be sure to tune in to see our dance students shine on stage!
It's WPS Art Week!
Our Lower School, Middle School, and High School student artwork will be on display all over campus on Tuesday-Thursday this week. Mr. Fullmer’s students will film the artwork that will allow us to share the artwork with everyone at home. This link will be made available to our families later this month. Congratulations to all of our artists! Their masterpieces are beautiful.
