Bantam U15 Mariners Fall Ball TEAM WHITE

Hello All,

We first off sorry about all the emails this morning as I was not having much fun doing the schedule for the upcoming season.

I want to first off welcome you all to Sylvan Lake Mariners White Bantam Fall Ball – this is pretty exciting as I really do not know what to expect as far as competition but I do expect it to be great baseball!!

Sorry if the practices have looked a little scatter-brained they will get better as we work together with the Blue team on finding the right mixture of teaching and playing. I hope to meet each and every parent and talk on a one on one basis, but if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me!!

Just a couple of housekeeping items:

• Players please come prepared to learn – open your mind and allow me to help at practices and games

• Respect your teammates, coaches, opposing teams, umpires and especially your parents

• Notify me of any arm soreness, injuries or ailments that will prevent you from playing 100%

• Please provide me with 2 areas of the game of baseball you want help with, learn or just to improve on and bring it to the next practice

• Most Important – have fun you should smile your playing baseball – play hard – learn from the experience

Finally Dug Out Etiquette: support your teammates through good and bad – I do not tolerate negative comments in the dug out so be supportive everyone has the right to learn, make errors, strike out the game of baseball is full of errors and mistakes so a positive environment will help players learn and succeed!!

• Unable to attend practice or games (please try and let me know no later than Friday Morning (day before games) if you know you will not be at games!

If you need help getting your athlete to practice or games I will gladly help out where I can!!
