Team of the Week – Varsity Volleyball
(October 4th – 9th)
The Varsity Volleyball has had a roller coaster of a season with a large number of matches effected by Hurricane Irma. And it wasn’t only local matches, their team trip to Chicago to take part in the 2017 Nord Anglia Volleyball Tournament was canceled as well. Despite the challenges the Lady Eagles have stuck together and this past weekend they managed to battle as a team to earn a 3rd Place finish in the 2017 NBPS Volleyball Challenge. The girls rallied in the final game of the 3rd Place match. After being down 14-11 in the final game the Lady Eagles battled for each point clinching the win 19-17. The girls didn’t stop there. They managed to carry their success into last night’s Senior Night Match sweeping Somerset Key Academy 3-0, making it a great night for our four Senior Volleyball Players. The Ladies hit the court again tonight, traveling to West Boca HS for their final regular season match of the year. Good Luck Girls…let’s keep the winning going!!

Team of the Week – Middle School Football
(September 26th – October 2nd)
After such a close game in their season opener, the Middle School Football Team wanted to immediately bounce back from their loss to Westminster Academy and prove that they had it in them to earn the win. Last Wednesday the MS Eagles did that and even more. The team traveled to rival Pine Crest Ft. Lauderdale to take on the Panthers and they came home with a HUGE win. The MS Eagles were dominate on both sides of the ball tallying 30 points offensively and defensively holding the Panthers to 14 points. Overall it was a great team effort! The Middle School Team now turn their focus to tomorrow’s game when they travel to Calvary Christian for a 4:00pm. Good Luck Boys!!
