The Rinaldi 12u Seminoles have won the 2016 Brian Moore 12u Baseball Tournament out at Allen Park in Farmingdale today. The boys advanced to the playoff rounds and defeated the Islip Lions 5-1 in the semifinals. In the championship game. the Seminoles beat the Plainedge Devils 11-1.

As many of you know, NYPD Police Officer Brian Moore made the ultimate sacrifice when he was killed in the line of duty on May 4, 2015. Soccer Band-Its LLC has partnered with the Plainedge Youth Baseball League to raise funds for the Brian Moore Memorial Fund. “Brian Moore” Shoelace Band-its were worn by the players during this, the 2nd Annual Police Officer Brian Moore Memorial Tournament July 15-17, 2016.

The Seminoles Organization is honored and privileged to be part of this tournament and cause. We look forward to returning next year.
