Congratulations to the Chapin Varsity Cheerleaders and JV Cheerleaders! Varsity cheerleaders won the Camp Championship at the University of Tennessee’s Elite Camp. They also won first place on the extreme routine and choreography. The team also received the 2014 Leadership award which is such an honor as it is voted on by the other teams. Alyssa Cox won the camp jump off for best jumps. Gabie Gentner, Carly Bouknight, Alyssa Cox won All American. Several senior girls were asked to try out to become a University Cheer Association Staff member for UCA, Carly Bouknight, Alyssa Cox, Danielle Derrick, Tyler Kirkpatrick, Katie Galloway, and Breanna Cole.

JV placed first in both the cheer and Xtreme routine. They also received an all superior trophy for getting superior ribbons in all of evaluations throughout the week at camp.

Congratulations to our cheerleaders and coaches for such an outstanding performance.

Per the CHS Athletic Department: Please remember that any student who participates in a school sport must pay the athletic fee of $50 per sport for the 2014-15 school year. Fees will be collected at the beginning of each athletic season. This fee is due once a student-athlete has made an athletic team. Checks may be made payable to CHAPIN HIGH SCHOOL and please include the athlete’s name and “Athletic Fee” and the sport on the memo line. There will be an opportunity to pay the fee at registration for fall sports that have completed try-outs.
