News and Announcements

Hello Lady Titan LAX Family,

I just learned today that there’s a time change in this Thursday’s Clash of the Titans, which will affect our start time for the Parent Meeting. Remember, if you have not attended a Clash of the Titans this school year already, then this one on Thursday is MANDATORY and will have to be attended by both the athlete and a parent.

Clash of the Titans is now at 5pm on 10 MARCH, at the LSW PAC and is scheduled to end by 6pm.

Our Parent Meeting will start immediately after, so let’s all meet at Mr. Rasdall’s room (Rm. 0184) at 6pm.

Sorry for the time change. I appreciate everyone’s flexibility and patience.

This Week in Girls LAX - Week of 7 MARCH

Posted by Jay Hertzler at Mar 7, 2016 10:17AM PST ( 0 Comments )

Happy Monday Lady Titan LAX Family.

We have a big week coming up, so here’s what’s ahead of us:

- IMPORTANT – Clash of the Titans (10 MAR) at 5:30pm in the LSW PAC. The player and at least 1 parent are required to attend at least one of these sessions per school year. This will be the 3rd and final Clash of the Titans session of the year, so if you have NOT attended one already, then attendance will be MANDATORY for the lax player and 1 parent to be eligible to play.
- EVEN MORE IMPORTANT – Mandatory Parent Meeting (10 MAR) at 6:30pm (maybe a little later as it is immediately after Clash of the Titans). This meeting is mandatory for parents to attend (I prefer the players do NOT attend) as it is an opportunity for the coaching staff to introduce ourselves and to set expectations to the parents for the upcoming season and answer any questions any parent may have. The location for this meeting will be in Mr. Rasdall’s classroom (Rm. 0184).

As everyone has heard, last week was a stressful week as we completed Varsity tryouts. The coaching staff was pleased with what we saw. The girls worked very hard, and we are very excited about the upcoming season. This week we are blessed with some warmer weather, but may find ourselves indoors for a couple of practices this week due to some rain in the forecast.

I hope all parents can make the Parent Meeting on the 10th. I find that this meeting is very good for both the parents and the coaching staff as expectations are set from the beginning. Please make every effort to attend this meeting on Thursday evening.

See you on Thursday!
~Coach Jay
