Attached is the final (hopefully) schedule for this spring’s season. I have also added these games on the calendar portion of our Teampages site.

OK, I apologize for all of the emails. I totally got the date wrong for the scrimmages…they are on SUNDAY 5 MARCH…same times, same location. Here are the correct details:

When – Sunday 5 MARCH.
JV-level players from 2pm – 3pm
Varsity-level players from 3pm – 4pm
Where: Blue Valley School District Stadium (135th & Switzer, Overland Park, KS)
Directions:
Option #1: Take 150HWY (which turns into 135th on the KS side) for around 15 miles, turn right at Switzer, take first left at 133rd, parking lot is immediately on the left side.
Option #2: Take 435W to 69HWY South, exit at 135th St, turn right and go 3 miles, then turn right at Switzer, take first left at 133rd, parking lot is immediately on the left side.

OK everyone,

I forgot to mention in the original email that we have a couple of scrimmages lined up for this Saturday afternoon. This is an opportunity to have pick-up scrimmages to help the league train the new referees, and in my opinion, a well-trained referee is a good thing.
That being said, I would like for our girls to attend this…the minimum time commitment is 1 hour, but for those who want to play for 2 hours, the opportunity is there. Here are the details:

When – Saturday 4 MARCH.
JV-level players from 2pm – 3pm

Wear your practice pinney to play. I would like as many of our girls to participate as possible, and it gives the girls an opportunity to play against girls from other schools with no pressure (because it’s a pick-up game).

Hello Lady Titan LAX Family,

I just wanted to reach out to everyone this evening, first to tell all of you how excited the coaching staff was today to get the season kicked off. It felt great to be back on the big field. Secondly, I would like to apologize for not giving parents a heads-up about the possibility of ending practice early tonight. Until we move the clocks forward on 12 MARCH, it looks like we’ll have about 90 mins of daylight to practice, so plan on us going from 5-6:30pm until the 13 MARCH practice.
I would also like to remind all the parents that next Wednesday 8 MARCH will be the MSHSAA meeting (formerly known as “Clash of the Titans”) from 5:30 – 6:30 in the LSW PAC. All players and at least 1 parent must attend at least one of these meetings per school year. Most of you have already attended one of the earlier meetings, so I will be reaching out to all those who need to attend that meeting in a separate email.
The team parent meeting will be later that evening at 7:00pm in Mr. Rasdall’s room. I would like for all parents (not players) to attend so we can have a candid conversation about coaching expectations, out of town tournaments, playing time, player & parent behavior, etc…

I learned that the Spring Clash of the Titans is scheduled for 5:30pm on 8 MARCH in the LSW PAC. If you do not have to attend this session, please attend the mandatory parent meeting in Mr Rasdall’s room (LSW Room 0184) at 7pm.
