We may get rained off our field today for our 2pm practice – but the players have a LOT to learn about Game Play, and we have games starting in just a week and a half!

I am inviting everyone over to our house for an hour or so of some “classroom style” learning on a large white board. We’ll review positions, coverage, backing up, relays in from the outfield and a LOT of stuff they will benefit from knowing when we get in our games.
(A majority of our practice today was going to be a scrimmage against each other with kids live pitching and real base running and stealing – there was a LOT to be learned today)
IF YOU CAN – please still make some time for baseball today and you can either drop your player off for an hour OR you can stay and have a drink and hang out with us while we have some fun learning!

Diamond is reworking all the PALL Fields and we lost our regular Tuesday spot, but we will be sharing Field #1 with the Minor A Angels for a practice tomorrow at 4pm, so please come if you can!
Meet you on Field 1, and don’t worry if you see some players you don’t recognize!

You may have received the Team Pages Announcement that the Game Schedule has been posted – and it HAS!!!

You may also have noticed that we do NOT have a game listed for Opening Day, 2-29-2020.
We ended up with a Bye this day – there are 5 teams in our division, so that means that every week the teams will rotate through the others and will usually play 2 games a week. But there will be a rotating Bye, some some weeks we will only have 1 game.
Please be aware that the Game Schedule MAY CHANGE at any time throughout the season. PALL may change games for many reasons and will update the master calendar in Team Pages and it will be reflected in our team calendar as well. So PLEASE always double check and be sure to pay attention to our calendar, our game reminders and you can always call or text me as well.
I know we’re all getting anxious for games, and we’re racing to get the players ready as well. We have a limited few practices left and I hope we can all make every effort to get the players there so we can fine-tune some things and come out strong in the beginning of the season and build up the whole way through. We have a VERY strong and talented team and will be showing off our skills and shooting for 1st Place trophies!

WOW – we are killin’ it so far team!

We have some shout outs to share with the group – thanks to the individuals involved in these efforts:

1) Jerseys & Hats are off and getting printed for our awesome team – plus a RAD custom team banner. WOOT WOOT!

2) Team Sponsors have been secured… not just ONE – but TWO! Bunch of over-achievers we are!

3) Representation at the Team Parent Meeting & Scorekeepers Clinic
- We had BY FAR the biggest showing for scorekeepers/pitch counters clinic and it shows our level of dedication and involvement as a team, as well as making this season run smoothly and being more prepared for game time baby!
- PLEASE message/text me on if you’re still highly interested in scorekeeping/pitch counting (we only do one of these at a time for each game) as I need to assign ADMIN rights to 2 people in GameChanger, and we can have others as back-ups (so let me know which one you’d prefer and we’ll work it out)

4) Player Prep – loving how the players have been showing up, dressed and ready to play and learn and we’ve made some serious progress in our practices every time.

BATTING PRACTICE THURSDAY
Field 6 – DOWN BELOW behind Twin Peaks Middle School – we’ll be running 2-3 batting stations to rotate the players through to get some fine tuning on their mechanics.
This is GREAT to do now and work on little things, one at a time, so we can get them crushing the ball and ready to take those skills to the field with live pitchers.
If your player can make it, please bring them at 4pm or 4:45 to run through with one of the two groups. You can text/email me and let me know.

2 HOUR PRACTICE SATURDAY
Next main practice is Saturday @ 2pm on Field #2 – we will be going over SLIDING – have your player wear pants please and sliding shorts under if they have them!!!!

Hello PALL Families,

Now that the rain is upon us, please make sure you are signed up for RainedOut for PALL field closure updates. Also, please encourage all of your families to register as well (this will save you the headache of having to notify all families individually). You can post the RainedOut web address on your team pages site or email to each of your families:

A few reminders:

1. We will only send notifications if fields are CLOSED. Always assume they are open until you hear otherwise.
2. We send out notifications as soon as possible, usually by 2pm on weekdays
3. No notice = GAME ON!
4. Once a game begins, only the umpires can make the decision to stop the game due to inclement weather.
5. Stress to parents that even if it “looks like” teams probably won’t play, RainedOut will make that call…see #1 and #3 above!
