5th Grade Boys Basketball!!!
Welcome all! So far a great season!
12/18/16- we added on to practice tomorrow so those in PSR would not be left out! we go from 7:30 -9pm so the schedule above is not updated yet. disregard the 7-8pm thing.
12/17/16- another win for the Saints! great fourth quarter, for a change! Great intensity by all! let's look to box out better, look for cutters, and call the screens and switches louder.
Our tourney schedule has changed!!! notice the dates above and in Team App.
we are trying to get a longer practice Monday. we go from 7-8pm but may get it extended to 7:30 -9pm. look for an update on that tomorrow Sunday! it will help those in PSR attend a practice before our first Tourney game.
12/13/16-we got our first win! hopefully one of many. we are playing better defense, and now seem to avoid the fast break. our offense continues to struggle. but we will change that around. good spirited play by many. Fenton got Player of week honors last week. congrats! Christian was player of week prior. note new practice schedule next week!
11/27/16: good scrimmage last night. first game is always difficult, but all played well! if we can tighten up the defense and make better, in-control shots after a rebound we could do well this season.
Drew won our 3 point competition! congrats to him! Christian and Jack came in 2nd. they will have to compete to break that tie. but right now, we have one guy who will be allowed to shoot 3's. and we will have games where no one can. The high school arc is not a place these 5th graders should be shooting from.
we'll have our Player of the week announced tonight. 1 hour practice.

With all games, please arrive at the location 30 minutes prior to game start so we can go over our game plan and stretch out.
With all games, let the coaches know if a player will not be in attendance for the game.
Don't get too excited about who starts. Everyone must play 3 segments (8ths) of the game, so we will always have a mixture of experienced players and newer players each segment. The 5 best players will never start together.
If your son wants to wear a tee shirt under his jersey during the season, it must be black short sleeve. those dry fit long sleeve shirts you are buying are just for pregame warmup. not to be worn during a game. not allowed. if they wear compression shorts under their uniforms must also be black. socks any color.
Reminder this homepage is where all our team news will go. It is the only page I will ever write to on our team site. I won't write anything to Locations, Schedule or Practices pages. the schedule page is written by our web curator and might NOT be complete since we grab extra practices at times. Update: we now have 10 players. Here is our practice schedule for the first two weeks:
