Air Attack continued its dominance at the Nashua YMCA, winning the 2002 Winter Championship. Air Attack now claims 10 championships in the last 15 sessions of competition. In the semi-final match, Aim and Hammer proved to be a worthy adversary. However, Aim and Hammer played with only five players and Air Attack was able to take advantage of the missing player. Aim and Hammer lost the match in 2 games (25-19 and 25-13). In the final championship match, Air Attack was paired with the #1 seeded 2002 Winter league team, Block Party. Block Party was able to score defensively and offensively but lost the first game in the series with a very close score of 25-23. In the second game, Air Attack did not join the Block Party and lost with a miserable score or 25-10.
