Important things to know about tryouts and the draft
Briarwood Little League will no longer use the redraft system.
_This applies to Major and Minor Division only (Not applicable to the Farm Division).
If you and your athlete decide that you do not want to play on the Major or Minor Team that you were drafted to in the 2019 season. You must notify the league (President or Player Agent) asap. We will confirm this detail with you at Tryouts but we ask that you inform us as soon as possible._

Does my Athlete need to tryout?
League age 6-8 are required to tryout
League age 10-12 not drafted to Major Division in 2019 are required to tryout.
All players who did not participate in the 2019 season and are of proper age.
All players who were placed on a team in the 2019 season but not drafted will be required to try out and will be available for picking in the draft.
If your child is league age 10 or 11 for the 2020 season and participated in the Minor Division for 2019 season, they will be required to try out. If your child is league age 10 or 11 for the 2020 season and not selected to a Major Division Team, they will be placed on their previous seasons Minor Division Roster.
If your child was drafted to minor division team in the 2019 season and will be league age 9 or under in the 2020 season. They will not be required to try out. They will be placed with the same team as the 2019 season.
All families have the option of entering your child back into the draft if you do not feel that particular team is a good fit.

What happens after tryouts?
Following both tryouts dates, the league will conduct a draft.
All league age 10 -12 are eligible to be drafted in the Major Division.
All league age 8-11 are eligible to be drafted to the Minor Division.
All league age 6-9 are eligible to be drafted to the Farm Division.
If your child is of required age to tryout and not drafted to a division higher than the previous season, they will be placed on the same roster as the 2019 spring season unless you have notified the league you want your child back in the draft eligible for any team in the same division that was played in the 2019 season.

2020 Spring Registration is NOW Open!
We have some great news – There will be no fee increases for the 2020 spring season. We apologize for the delay is getting registration open. We realize this is much later than most are used to. We appreciate you patience and are truly eager for the upcoming 60th season of Briarwood Little League Baseball!

Take advantage of the payment plan
We realize that this time of year the holidays can make budget planning a bit tight. Please feel free to use the payment plan. There is no additional cost to you and if you register this month it still allows you to take advantage of the 10% discount! The payment plan will split the registration costs into three equal payments, one will be due upon registration and second and third will be billed to your credit card on March 1st and April 1st.

The goal of fall ball is simple, keep kids playing baseball, make it fun and make it affordable!
The Fall Ball season is subsidized by spring season fundraising and sponsorship efforts.

2019 Briarwood Little League 2019 Fall Registration
All Ages – $50.00 Per Player

Fall Ball is a compact season. There will be 7-9 games that will be played on Sunday Afternoons along with limited practices.
The first game is tentatively scheduled for Sunday 9/8. *Subject to change

Rosters will be put together on the weekend of 8/18. You can expect to hear from your coach that following week.
Expect practices to be 1 or 2 times a week. (MAX 2)

We are always looking for coaches and snack shack volunteers.
