ESC Peewee Championship at Colgate University

On November 22nd Teams from Central New York, Greater Rochester and Rockland County will play for the 2015 Peewee Championship in the Empire State Classic.. In the 11:30AM game, the Greece Chargers of Central New York will face the Bergen County Stars of Rockland County for the AFL Conference Championship. In the 2:00PM game, the Irondequoit Jr. Lancers of Greater Rochester will face the New Rochelle Purple Waves of Rockland County for the NFL Conference Championship.

In a well played game and hard fought battle in a hard fought battle in Schenectady NY the Hornets of Rockland County and the Cyclones of Western NY battled in out for the 2015 Empire State Classic Championship. It was a well played game and was not decided until the officials signaled the end of the game.

Both teams represented their local communites and leahues well. We wish them much success in the 2016 Season.

The games this weekend at Valley and MacVoy have had time changes to allow for time to get to the fields. So, the times have been changed to 11:00 am and 1 pm at MacVoy, and 11:30 am and 1:30 pm at Valley – please let your respective teams know.

In a major move, Pop Warner has adjusted its age weight matrix to reflect what is considered to be the safest approach to youth football. There are Seven Divisions of play, all determined by a strict age/weight scale to ensure safe and balanced competition.
